An ancient approach to health care

Classical texts spanning back 2000 years combined with growing modern studies have proven how the insertion of fine needles along the body’s natural pathways can have a profound healing effect against disease. Through a combination of techniques, and with a 5 Element focus, acupuncture treatment can get to the root cause of illness, gently encouraging Blood and Qi to circulate and ultimately bringing you back into balance.

My aim for every treatment is to remove blockages in the natural healing response, and to encourage the body to work effectively at nurturing itself.

  • I have had acupuncture for several sessions now on my shoulder. I have arthritis and it gets very tight and painful. The acupuncture has helped so much that I now no longer have pain just from the weight of my arm.   • I saw Jordan yesterday for a session of facial acupuncture and I've felt so good ever since I had to write a review. The whole experience, start to finish, was one of the best therapy/cosmetic experiences I've had. The space and vibe is warm, welcoming and relaxing, as was Jordan's approach to me as a patient. Jordan listened intently and adjusted the treatment to my needs; her quick understanding of my current skincare routine was super useful. I was very grateful also to be able to talk about my 5 Elements practice to ensure the facial treatment fitted in with that. I’ve been told I’m, ‘glowing’ by 3 people since the session, so something has worked! By the end of the session I had all but melted into the bed.   • I have been to see Jordan for a facial 3 times now and I can’t wait to get back for the next one! She is not only professional and polite, but she really listens to you and tailors your experience depending on how you feel and she does it with such gentleness and care. The facials are cosmetic but also very holistic - i feel totally renewed after a session and it’s my treat to myself for a bit of pampering! She gives you a choice of creams and oils to use after the needles and performs the guasha technique gently on the face and neck. I have been to the Peckham studio on a Saturday morning and it’s such a cool place to be - it’s a bustling centre for small independent businesses - so Storehouse fits right in. Thank you Jordan for taking such care with every visit! You are an acupuncture queen!

  • Jordan has been treating me since February 2022, and she has been amazing. I've experienced improvements in my health and become more in tune with my body since working with Jordan and the five element acupuncture she practices. For example, recurring infection symptoms which were unsuccessfully treated by my GP completely left after I told Jordan about it and she did a targeted treatment for it. Jordan has a highly person-centred approach and genuinely cares about her clients. She aims to see the whole picture and has a holistic approach to health. Her health advice outside of acupuncture has been incredibly helpful. I was quite nervous around needles prior to having acupuncture, and am fine with them now. Jordan makes you feel so comfortable and at ease during treatment, and through her I have learned a bit about how Chinese medicine works (I still don't totally understand it but the bits I do get make a lot of sense and it's totally fascinating). I've already recommended Storehouse Acupuncture to several people, all who have benefitted from Jordan's brilliant care and expertise, but I would highly recommended seeing Jordan to anyone.
